These seminars are sponsored by Project Open, an adult education outreach program for senior citizens living in the eight building of the Lincoln Towers complex near Lincoln Center. Founded in 1990, it provides counseling, assistance with various government programs and services, meals on wheels and a variety of recreational and educational programs including Lincoln Towers University.  LTU, an extremely popular program, provides a series of continuing education and short courses  taught by  volunteer teachers, professors and experts in several fields and disciplines.
